F*$%ing Packing.

I believe on of my first entry's with this blog was a post about packing... well I am back at it again and it still sucks just as much (insert inappropriate word here) as it did before... but this time the problem snit fitting everything.. that I can manage (even though I wonder why the heck I brought half this stuff here)... this time it is the weight issue... WHY IS EVERYTHING SO HEAVY. I know I am going to have to pay an arm and a leg to get all my crap back to Canada.. However... that is life.

And I guess I can say this now considering it is only a week and a half away...

Happy New Year

Happy New Years!

On New Year’s Eve my family and I hung around the house and relaxed! Starting in the evening my host dad and I cracked open a bottle of Bacardi Oakheart and my host mom a beer and the evening began! We had a wonderful Fondue with all the fixings however the tempura didn’t work out so hot… and as I was trying to thicken it up managed to spill it ALL over the kitchen… typical Brenna… as my host family would say. After fondue we played yahtzee and watched Ronja and Robin struggle to make it to midnight. (Ruben was long gone) at about 5 to 12 we went outside onto the street cracked a bottle of champagne and at midnight toasted to the New Year and set off LOADS of fireworks!! It was super cool because in every direction you looked there were fireworks shooting into the sky!! It was a wonderful way to bring in the New Year.

Now things are back to normal and I am hopping will go slow because I only have a short 3 weeks left… and next week is jam packed with family appointments so I am sure it is going to go faster than I want it to… till next time… which is probably going to be just before I come home and filled with way too many uncalled for emotions!
